How to Play TileForge

• Each player draws 7 tiles from the bag at the start.
• The first player must place a word that covers the center star (★).
• Turn order alternates between players.
• On each turn, you can: place tiles to form words, exchange tiles, or pass.

New words can be formed by:

• Extending - Adding tiles before or after an existing word.
• Crossing - Playing a word that intersects with an existing word.
• Parallel - Playing tiles parallel to an existing word, forming multiple words.
• Adding - Adding a single letter to create a new word (e.g., CAT → CATS).
• Bridging - Playing tiles that connect two existing words.

• There are 2 blank tiles in the bag (represented by "?").
• Blanks can represent any letter you choose.
• Blanks are worth 0 points.
• Once placed, the letter a blank represents cannot be changed.
• Blanks cannot be retrieved or swapped once played.

• You may exchange any or all of your tiles for new ones from the bag.
• Exchange is only allowed when there are at least 7 tiles remaining in the bag.
• Exchanging tiles uses your entire turn - you cannot play words on the same turn.
• Exchanged tiles are returned to the bag and shuffled before drawing new ones.

The game ends when:

• The tile bag is empty and one player uses all their tiles.
• All players pass their turns consecutively (2 passes in a 2-player game).
• A player resigns.
